“Is it time to talk to someone?” – Sometimes we can handle adversity by ourselves, and sometimes we need help. Talking with a friend or family member can often do the trick, but there are times when you might want to speak freely without worrying about being judged, hurting someone’s feelings, receiving unsolicited advice, or risk having what you share not be kept confidential.

I’m here to listen to you in an open, encouraging environment where you can speak candidly as you explore what is interfering with your life right now. We’ll work together to help you:

gain insight and space with painful or confusing experiences that are burdening you

explore your dreams and needs

choose what is helpful for you at this time

build on your strengths and talents so you can live the life you want

Life transitions – Even positive changes can often leave us feeling stressed, confused and vulnerable. And yet change, whether wanted or unexpected, can provide opportunities to become stronger, more confident, and more skilled with handling the unknown. We can help your system choose what feels right for you at this juncture. 

Anxiety – Everyone has experienced feeling anxious–it can be healthy and informative, and is a necessary part of being human.  But if you are overwhelmed by your anxiety, or find yourself obsessively focusing on worries, let's help your system gain more space and learn to access more ease. 

Depression – If you are unable to function in your day-to-day life, have little motivation, or are isolating yourself from the people you love, you could be suffering from depression. I can help you explore what might be causing this, and help you become unstuck.
